The National Historical Machinery Association Inc. continues to grow steadily. As at June 2023 the Association has a membership of 175 member clubs, with approx. 10,000 members. Because of our large national membership base, NHMA is the peak body in Australia representing the historic machinery sector.
The NHMA provides a range of member benefits to it’s affiliated clubs and members, including a group insurance scheme covering public liability, personal accident and injury and association officer’s insurance. The insurance offering is set to grow over the next year, and we are hoping to be in a position to offer a greater range of insurance benefits to our members during that period.
NHMA has recently developed a new rally manual, setting out how to assess and mitigate a range of risks associated with the display and operation of historic plant and equipment. Our new manual is now available to clubs as from the start of our new insurance year on the 31st of July 2022.
If you are wanting to speak with someone regarding the NHMA, please feel free to contact one of the Management Committee Members listed on the PDF download who would be only too happy to discuss the NHMA and its activities.
For the benefit of Interstate travelers and others wishing to make contact with fellow enthusiasts download a list of clubs. If you would like to contact any club please contact Allan Wheaton for contact information.
