At the Hamilton Pastoral museums May weekend a vast array of horticultural, market garden and small farm machines will be operating in the museums working paddock. From far and wide enthusiasts are planning to make the trip to the museum for the chance to till some soil with their little tractors and attached implements. While visiting the museum take a walk in the museums streetscape of period buildings and appreciate all manner of bygones in the extensive collection. Observe past farming practices and lost trades and join in the fun with the miniature railway, vintage cars and woodturners. Both days will have a 2pm grand parade and all day food from the museums kitchen.
