NHMA National Tractor Convention

The 10th NHMA National Tractor Convention was awarded to Cudgegong Valley Antique Machinery Club.

Accommodation is really tight due to all the FIFO workforce in the area so booking early is essential. You will find a list of accommodation in the area below.

The biannual event for members to enjoy a rally of tractors in a friendly club environment with arranged tractor tours across the rural areas in the Gulgong Region.
NHMA 2026 National Tractor Convention will be held at Gulgong, New South Wales 4, 5, & 6 September 2026.
Venue: Gulgong Showground

NHMA National Tractor Convention 2026 Itinerary.

Friday 4th September.

Arrive at Gulgong Showground during morning setup, register and pickup welcome pack.

1pm Lunch at Showground Headquarters.
2 to 2.30pm drive tractors to Gulgong Museum. Back at the Showground
4.30 to 5pm. At this stage there will be 2 groups, those who wish to spend the whole afternoon at the museum and those who wish to take the long way home.
This will be a tractor run of about 1.5 hours.
Dinner will be at the Showground Bar between 6.30 and 7pm.
During dinner we will have the toolbox talk, where maps will be available and there will be a presentation on the route and a discussion about expectations.

Saturday 5th September.

7 to 8am Breakfast at the Showground Bar.
Trekkers depart Showground at 8.30am.
Morning Tea at 10.30am. Lunch at 1pm.
Afternoon Tea at 3.30pm.
Return to the Showground at 5pm. 1.5hrs to cleanup and shower.
Leaving the Showground by bus at 6.30pm for Dinner at the Gulgong Bowling Club.
After Dinner there will be a Local Band and a Charity Auction.
The Bus will return to the Showground at 10pm.
There will also be pickup and drop off to accommodation venues for trekkers not staying at the Showground.

Sunday 6th September.

7 to 8am Breakfast at the Showground Bar.
There will be 2 options for Sunday morning, another run of about 2hrs including Morning Tea or Tractor pull and activities at the showground. This can be decided before the Auction on Saturday night.
During the morning there will also be a car /truck/tractor show and shine for our members.
Lunch at 12 to 1pm, Trekkers leave at your leisure, the showground camping is available until Monday departure.

Notes: The Saturday night meal will be a Chinese Smorgasbord. The Winery Tour for Non-Trekker partners will depart at 10 to 10.30, depending on numbers. Times may vary by ½ an hour depending on entry numbers and tractor types.
